my compressor makes noise when the a/c isnt cycling and when it is, it gets quiet, so Im sure ill have to do this in the near future as well, I would rather spend maybe 15 bucks max rather than the 200 plus for the compressor, thanks for this!

Hey everyone, i updated this thread. Had the chance to pull apart a b15 ser compressor. Also removed the clutch coil and showed how to test it. Turns out i need a b13 clutch coil as b15 internals are a little thinner. So i may update again when i finally get this figured out!

Off a forum member. Im not sure where he got it though. Any place that sells bearing should be able to get you one that will work. Just use that number as reference. I know from taking apart more compressors the OEM bearing i believe is NSK bearing from Japan, orange seals. All the compressors use the same size bearing. (so far that i've seen)

I got the exact same bearing at autozone, though it appears they only have a different brand now. They even had one in stock at my local store, it appears tons of cars use the same size:

In the middle of performing this right now, I only found one washer/spacer when removing my clutch assembly, just a note there.

I've found on average there are 3. 2 thinner than the 3rd. As long as when you put it back together the plate doesnt touch the pulley (and isnt to far from the pulley/magnet to grab the plate) you should be good. You can look up the specs in the FSM using a feeler gauge to get the exact distance, but i just put it all back together and had enough distance.

this size did not work for me, the outer race is much bigger and wont fit.

Dimensions for mine are 35x55x20

part number on the bearing that came out of my compressor was NSK 35BD219DUK, it seems to have been superseded, when punched into google it comes up with this
http://www.amazon.com/Compressor-Clutch-Bearing-NSK-35BD219DUM/dp/B007WDXWXK

I took the bearing to napa they got the measurements, and are ordering a bearing up, but its 80 bucks, I really dont wanna go that route either, so I think I will be ordering the one from amazon

the 93 sentra I have has R134 lines attached, but when I initally bought the car the compressor would only compress when the car was idling, so i swapped it with a 92 NX2K compressor I had, and it worked. but now the bearing is taking a crap.

GLOBAL AIR CB - 2502 is the green one

OEM is
NSK - 35BD219DUK8A (there is also a small 028 by itself on the race as well)
