Does that rule out the stock P11 VE ECU, or can the injector sensor pins be used? If not, is there an economical way to still use the stock ECU, or would switching to coils absolutely require something such as AEM?
The rest of if seems simple enough, it is only that part that I am unclear on.

No that won't work, use a s13 det ecu or will have to go standalone

Have you by any chance attempted to see how well the S13 ECU runs the VE? I can actually get one of those pretty easily.

In that case, would it be easier to just use the complete DET engine harness?
And will having a tunable ECU be absolutely necessary, or would it be possible to just get a chip with a stock/basic VE tune from Nismotronic?
