Now I'm new to these cars And by iac sensor u mean the sensor on the side of the intake manifold on highport motors? To adjust it's the screw thats on top of that sensor? I'm just havin the same prob as u guys are.

Well I just did my timing exaclty how it sayes to do on here and I reved it to 3k 3 times and it went down right away to around 1200 1500. Is it suppose to lock at 3k and you adjust your timing oorrr do you let it drop to to around 1000 and then adjust your timing??

And also is the sensor on the side of the intake manifold on a highport motor were the adjustment is made for idle control? That big screw on top of the sensor do u adjust that?

Its perfect now thanks Viprdude. I adjusted the timing like it sayes on here but ran into high idle prob so I adjusted the iac at the same time to get it down to 1,500 when tuning it. Now it idles around 800 and timing is at 18-19degs. I would say that iac is gotta be the biggest problem people have on here with getting an accurate reading.
