RR swap into B14!
Hi all!! my name is Xavier and I have a prestine condition 96 B14 se-r with a bluebird setup that about 3 weeks ago the top end came apart and lost power. Anyways i bought a 01 Roller Rocker engine off of a sentra. The problem I ran into trying to swap that engine into my b14 is that the heater core hose outlets coming off the engine were removed in order to use a 94 lowport intake manifold coming off a g20. I come home and start the process of interchanging the manys and noticed that the b15 intake manifold has the housing for coolant temp sensor and coolant temp sending unit. The other sr20 has the same thing but on the cylinder head itself, roller rocker does not. I need help to try and finish this swap any info will be appreciated!!!!!!! My phone number is 440-360-0573 anybody can contact me via text or email which is xaviSR20@thttp://s753.photobucket.com/albums/xx180/xavi1320t/?newest=1mo.blackberry.net.[img][/img]

I think you would have to use RR block with lowport head..... I'm not sure ..... That way most of the hoses and sensors will be original??? But again I'm not sure...

You can use the bluebird block with the rr head and 94 intake manifold, you just need to use the hard water lines from the rr.

I've heard and seen good things about boosting a rr. Keep the boost under 15 and you should be good. I knew a few people who have done it and dyno between 315-330hp with no issue's.

Nope. Both people I know had stock blocks stock motors. One of them was on their 3rd b15 tranny but that's about it. Both cars still run today.
