Trying to get my car buttoned up for Monday. Forecast calls for rain so I will leave the street tires on and pack the race just in case.

Chris you ran the DTC 60's, assuming you didn't run them in the rain? I will bring the HP+ just in case but I HATE those pads!

ran the DTC-60s in the rain too.. why you hate them? I love them!! Hated the Hawk Blue in comparison..

...would just melt HP+ on the front of the p10 ..INCLUDING in rain (g20 rocks in rain btw )

...we just got the front wheel bearing and hub replaced today on the g20 along with brand new axle... tomorrow it gets an alignment and eventually gotta work on the miata now!

Are you timing?

Full track on Monday, right?

The best I did timed last year was a 3:01 on 205 tires in the g20.. but this year got below that to 2:57 on 225s :-) WIDER is better.. haha

I hate the HP+. My car is light and everyone said the HP+ was a decent track day pad. THEY SUCKED! I am not the best driver but I am competent enough and definitely know how to use my brakes. The HP+ had the same torque from initial bite all the way through, the problem is it was WEAK! I was breaking WAY later on my old AD22 Carbotech setup. I am now on wilwood 2 piece rotor setup. I hope I like the DTC60's a bunch more, I am confident I will.

South course only. I have NEVER timed. I am hoping that I am running close to a low 1:4xish on south though based on previous track days. I have an app. for my phone that I am hoping to try out for timing.

I have only ever driven twice at autobahn, once south once north. You were at the South track day I did with AMS. I wish I was timing then as I felt reasonably fast.

Wes, so how did it go?

Great! Car was flawless all day long! Bumpsteer kit and caster bushings make a big difference! Car was more neutral and more stable in a straight line! DTC60's are great pads. I am using maxima rears and honestly have too much rear bias. I am either going to remove some rear pad material in the middle of the pad or I am going to switch to stock SE-R rears!

Car felt pretty quick today. I learned from the group I was in as well! Lots of pretty fast guys. Explored more of the track and learned to push some new lines further!

And you have Wilwood fronts?

yup.. we love the DTC60 on the p10 too!!! and FWIW, we have the same Hawk HPS pads on back from 27 track days ago and 4 front pad changes later! (can you say lack of rear brake bias?)

Yes I have the 11" two piece rotor that are 1" thick. Wilwood billet dynalite 4 pistons. Rears still seem to lock first and the car is somewhat squirly under heavy braking. I am thinking of replacing the rear calipers S&S these are ones I rebuilt. I suspect one of them is locking before the other. If not I will try removing pad material, and finally going down to ser rears.

Good pad for sure! Much better than the HP+. I learned a lot yesterday about south. I still need to carry more speed through 4 and 13 still escapes me a bit, but I typically get through 14 right to be flat in to 1. I was getting reallyfats from the 1-3 complex and 5-10 I was moving good. I was catching a lot of people through 5 in to 6 as the people in my group really drove a bad line and lost a ton of speed through there.

The 200 got a lot of respect being the only FWD car there! I wish I was timing as I know I was getting faster in my last session and had a number of laps clear of traffic. I can tell you a few of the Elise's and Exiege's didn't want to let me by at first and then in the paddock started asking more about the car etc.....
