Like title says, looking to buy a FWD JDM DE in the area. My stock highport finally took a crap after 150k miles. Im in Virginia Beach so anywhere within a few hours drive.

Nice and clean low miles and compression test results is a must.

Let me know what you have, or if you can point me in the direction for finding one locally.

NOPE.

Makoto has a crappy engine. i just went to look at it.

Jamie says i cant look at the engine before i buy it because he is not a retail location. Can someone vouch for him, and his engines? I need an engine but not that bad to where im gonna buy a terd.

What was the deal with Makoto?

I need a good working sludge free, reliable one, so x2 on vouching for Jamie.

There is always Andreas Miko, but thats not in driving distance.

Makoto's engine was sludged up inside the VC i pulled the oil fill cap off and could scrape the gunk off of the inside, there was red rtv on water pump (nissan uses grey), no alternator, and just overall a very dirty engine. He wanted $450 for it.

I know Andreas always has the clean motors but i was trying to find one in the area so i dont have to pay $200 for shipping.

Jamie sounded legit on the phone but not being able to see the engine(atleast some pics) before dropping $545 is kinda edgy for me.

Anyone else with info, please chim in.
