Help me stay in the SR20 game! motor FS in MD
I'm sure some of the old SR heads have noticed I have not been active on the forums for a while. I have been busy dealing with life and marriage and unfortunately have not had any time to devote to SR20's. Well everything just seems to keep getting worse, and I am now at a point where I have no option but to sell or trade off my SR20DE(T) that I had built in hopes of being able to afford a clean driveable B13. After 8 long years of service, my SE-R has met her end this morning. I now have 2 no good shells, a buttload of SR20 parts, a whole bunch of go fast goodies, but no car to drive.

Now that I am married and a homeowner, and kids are probably in the future somewhere, I was contemplating just giving up and getting a family vehicle like a camry or some BS like that, but I do not feel like I am ready to get out of the SR20 game yet.

Please check the for sale section for my turbo motor sale,
http://www.sr20-forum.com/forced-induction/45025-md-fs-ft-fwd-sr20de-t-motor-build-400-whp-ready.html
and if anyone out there has a clean shell or stock running b13 please let me know

If anyone in the SR20 community can help or is interested, please contact me at 4435366728 through text/call, or email robboser@gmail.com.

Forum is harder to get in touch with me because I find I barely have enough time as it is I haven't been able to check too often ( obviously )
Thanks everyone!

I have to ask and feel free to PM me, but why did your SE-R meet the end this morning?

Sounds like u need a P11 to grow up in with your new situation!

I let my guard down for a minute and was paying too much attention to trying to change lanes so I didn't miss my exit coming up, and not enough attention to the fact that traffic was stopping in front of me on the Baltimore Beltway. I noticed too late and slammed my brakes causing the front of my car to dip down and go right under the bumper of a large work van. No frame damage but it is not salvageable. Core support is bent, both headlights done, radiator cracked. Motor still started and alignment was fine! The cars body has been slowly falling apart due to rust anyways, but I was hoping I'd have at least a few more months to figure out what I was doing. Now due to my negligence, I have to figure something out immediately.

That is damn near exactly what happened to me also. Literally, the same accidnet and lack of awareness. I bought my totaled car back and brought it back to life and sometimes I regret doing so because it has a dirty title.

I cannot find the thread but here are three pics of what my car looked like after kissing a Mercury Mariner. The Mariner had no damage, just a small speck of green paint on her bumper.

Yea mine looks a little bit worse but pretty much to that effect. I was going about 40 and just slammed the brakes and slid. Had nowhere to go as it was beltway traffic. This would be more time and money then I have to fix up. Taking into account the rust on the body, I just need a new shell lol Thanks for sharing that though, I don't feel quite as crummy now. I know everyone has accidents, but it's been so long for me without one. Going on 8 years now and this is how my car dies

Rob,

Gonna have to adhere to the forum's for sale guidelines. Please create a FS thread in the FS section. You can link from Mid-A section to the FS section, but cannot have duplicate threads in different sections.

Please get this taken care of, or the thread will have to be deleted and you will have to do everything over.

Rob, I totally understand your current situation and I'm unsure if this post cancels out your previous "wanted shell" post. However, I just want to put it out there that I do and am going to try and sell my 91 B13 rolling shell. If you're interested let me know. Otherwise, sorry for your situation and good luck in your future automotive endeavors.
