Moving on up...
I figured that I would post up, just incase any of the DC locals end up seeing me driving around/ lost. I am moving to Hartly, DE. the weekend of the 14th, but upon obtaining a position I will be moving into DC. I just graduated with my Masters degree and I am coming out to DC to look for employment. Anyways, if you guys see Fosters old NX running around then honk and point me in the right direction.

Will do, I may be in a white work van with this guy on the back of it with a bunch of stars. Or I will be in a white NX

At first I will be located in Hartly, DE, until I am able to gain the lay of the land/ potentially obtain employment. I am not to sure of what areas are good and bad. After I figure this out I will be looking for a short term room to rent, which is close to the metro/ allows me to park the NX. If anyone has any recommendations, that would be great. I have heard that any where on the red-line is fine, but I am also looking into the Arlington area (mostly because of it's central location in relation to the entire metro area).

Btw, I am actually leaving Myrtle Beach in ~1hr, so I after the drive I will hopefully be up there for good.

I rolled in around 10:00pm last night. Traffic on I-95 is no joke. It was bumper to bumper for approximately 50 miles, starting outside of Quantico.

Btw, if anyone in the DC Metro has a couch or room for rent let me know. I am currently in talks with a couple of different places on positions, but I didn't realize just how far out I currently am (Midwest mindset). I am so far out that the amish are my current neighbors (not a bad thing, but probably not the best for location purposes).

I sent you a pm, but this way everyone else also sees what I am applying for.

I just graduated with my Masters degree in Public Administration and Policy Analysis. My focus' were in homeland security, terrorism, U.S. foreign policy, and nuclear weapons policy. I am looking for something in the policy or research realm, but am pretty much open to anything.

Unfortunately I was unable to find anything around the St. Louis area, so I came to DC due to my background.

I am currently just across the Maryland border inside of Delaware. I came here first, as I have a family member that lives here. I am staying with them until I am able to find a place to stay or figure out the lay of the land. Once that happens my wife will be joining me (sometime around the beginning of November).
