Yeah, you can just see one of the laser welded seams around the vlsd unit on the bottom of the first pic.

We have the oem sample diffs just now for the NA transmissions, and are taking our measurements.

Am I the only one who would want a longer final drive? When I race on the track, I'm always close to redlining 4th it seems on almost every straight and going into 5th on longer straights and I'd love some longer gears. I think turbo guys would enjoy that so we don't have to shift into 5th so much.

Longer gears wont make you go faster... get shorter graring and redline the 5th gear

lol there's that thinking as well. Longer gearing won't make me faster, but it will make me shift less and when going around a road course I'd love to stay in the 1-4th most of the time and never see 5th except on the long straight, unfortunately I'm having to shift to 5th even in moderate straights or redline 4th which increases my heat output which isn't so great.

I was taking a look again at the gearstack spreadsheet and found out that actually the P10's from 90-93 have the lowest gear ratios of all transmissions. I can get an extra 10mph our of 3rd and 4th with that transmission.

hmm!
