Would you please keep us up to date on what you hear. I think a lot of us are interested in this.

Got my tax return and I want to go 6 speed on my B13, but I can't till this bracket problem is figured out.

The new style mount was tested at our facility with great success. We have had no issues with movement of this mount.

Now I am going to tell everyone my OPINION on what I think went wrong with this whole situation. This is not fact, just MY OPINION.

There was a batch of rear mounts that mazworx made for this kit that were off slightly. The rear mounts positioned everything slightly off(not even an inch) which in turn would make the transmission mount shift during acceleration as it is shifted every so slightly. Mazworx has addressed the issue of a better transmission mount with a wider housing for the polyurethane insert and the rear mounts were fixed back in 2013 as well.

But like I said this is my opinion not fact from mazworx nor am I speaking on behalf of mazworx. Im speaking from a testing standpoint with results.

^^^^^ This makes perfect sense. I had an issue with a stock motor mount starting to separate and creep "forward". The problem turned out to be with the rear mount. I wonder who I can talk to at Mazwork to make sure what I order are the new correct pieces and not some of the old stock.

Whomever I spoke with (that hasn't responded to me recently) on their Facebook presence, didn't tell me they ever changed their design for the rear mounts.

And If they did, I havent heard about it, but it's not like they put announcements on their website or anything.

I would be rear interested to see a picture of the "revised" mount. I called and spoke to Mazworx a couple of months ago asked if I could send them my mounts so they could jig them and make sure there was no issues. The guy I spoke to on the phone was like said there was no known issues.... "put it together and see if you have any issues"

What a pain in the ass........ I just wish I knew what to look for with the mounts. I have a set of mounts out of the car and it's a prime time to check things out.

So there was known rear mount issues too? I had so many problems with this kit. I made my own driver's side and modified the rear mount to correct it. I discovered that it was broke when I removed my 6 speed setup. The tab with 2 holes in it that bolt to the lower part of the trans was sheared off. I just repaired it and reinforced the area. I will make my own stuff before I buy overpriced junk anymore.
