From what I remember, they were a questionable upgrade back then. Mosty a lumpy idle. I think Nissan Motorsports sold them as an upgrade back then, and maybe Stillen, too.

Edit: found the link

Both NISMO cams are JWT cams? At least that is what the current motorsports catalog lists as part numbers now.

I think that's right. Nissan Motorsports (state-side, not JDM) has almost always rebranded existing aftermarket parts for things like clutches, cams, sway bars, etc.

I think it has something to do with grassroots factory sponsorship. ?

That and Nismo sway bars were, damn near forever, almost always Suspension Technique bars.

I know in the current motorsports catalog, it lists S3 and S3R as aftermarket cam options for DE and GTi-R DE engines.

Side gapping should definitely be added to the free section.

Regrounding your O2 is not quite free because you have to buy a 4-wire O2 sensor ($50) still cheaper then buying an OEM replacement though. Now This sensor wont give you anything new, it just helps you regain what you lost by having an SS header with poor grounding capabilities.
