I sort of went into that point when discussing the restrictors...
They seem to be there to limit how much air travels through this way, to help prevent a run-away idle.

I don't have a VC with the black oil separator anymore (RR VC on RR), but I'll see if I can see how much vacuum it has at idle from my buddy's car.

What about a three port catch can, mounted in the pcv line, with the line from the factory "Black Box" hooked to the 3rd port? Ben, would like your thoughts

If I understand what you're asking, you'd be eliminating the part that operates under WOT. Sounds like this would be mostly the same as the WOT "catch can" elimination Ben diagrammed in Post #3 here, but with the additional catch can. Seems that this would still fall under the Bad Idea category since it still eliminates the WOT scenario.

No, This would do away with the black box, and route the wot line to the catch can that is mounted in the pvc line, with the drain line from the catch can going to the factory drain line.
