What about a Magellan?

Garmin ,magellan , tomtom, Mio all do the same thing.

in the end you are just using it to guide you when lost right.
why spend a fortune if you not going to use it to go navigate your way to the next galaxie.

My Mio does everything a garmin or magellan does just as good and i can garauntee that its smaller slimmer and has the same amount of featureres if not more. the Mio screen is a small widescreen i think its 4 inches compared to some of the other brands that are 2.5 or 3 inches

if you doubt the brand check the reviews for the C320. also you can buy the extended warranty and stilll save money.

everyone says garmin , magellean etc. i went thru this before i bought mine and i was on your same boat.

i used a tom tom all summer long, and know i use a garmin. hands down the garmin owns, but the tom tom never left me not knowing where i was going, plus it was cheap.

go for the tom tom ian.

Quite a bit outside the price range you are looking to spend but the Nuvi 650 I got for Christmas is AWESOME. Lightning fast searches practically no load times. Not to mention widescreen action

Just saw this thread... I have a C530 (hacked to work like a C580, street naming, but no blue tooth)for the money it is a solid device, cheap enough. I don't recommend tom tom because their maps are not as nearly as accurate as garmins suppler. Read some reviews on that. I recommend that you look for a GPS with SiRF Star III reciver... They are mucho accurate, I can use it in my house and get 35-40% signal, tunnels and so on.
