Signal/frequency/pulse convertor
So, I'm starting a project, and I might need something to increase or decrease the amount of pulses from an electrical speed sensor.
Let's assume I need to convert a 16-pulse/rev signal to a 24-pulse/rev signal, an increase of 50%. I might end up with something completely different, but for now this will do.
I would need a signal convertor that can do that.
Does anyone have an idea where I can find a cheap solution for that? I've seen units that do this on Honda websites, but they tend to cost about $100-$200, which is a bit much.
Would one, if proficient with small electronics, be able to create a custom circuit that does this?
