3 alternators!
Been through 3 alternators in 2 weeks!
Either they are bad or my battery is, but at rest my battery reads 12.6-12.7v.
At idle both the alternator and battery read 15.3v.
Mind you these are alternators that came off once running motors that have been stored properly.
Just sucks because I have to be at a meet in about 6 hours and everything for a 2.0 Nissan is like a geographical odessey, 2 days from anywhere.
Any suggestions beside ordering a very expsensive b15 alternator?
I've driven the car short distances like this and experienced no problems.
Wondering if I can drive it an hour from my house and back (all interstate)?
Thanks for reading.

That's how it should be. Looking at that your alternator should be good. What exactly is it doing that's making you say somethings wrong? Just not starting?

Just install a cheap voltage gauge and monitor it while you drive

I put a new battery in it. Problem persists. But the car got rearended an hour later. I think there's a problem in the harness. Oh well motor and trans are going into my b14 this weekend.
