help burnt wire on harness...which one is it?




im in the process of doing my swap and i want to put my harness on before i put the motor in but theres a burned wire one of the plugs...does anybody know where its suppose to connect to? 92 se-r wire harness

Id say resistor and condenser for the distributor. Look at the Ignition signal page in the FSM under the EF & EC section. EF & EC 83 in my 92 G20 FSM. If the yellow wire is Yellow/Red the rest match, Black/Red, Black, Green/Yellow, and Yellow/Red.

I would guess too much current through the resistor. or a bad/corroded connection.
