If you have an optima already by yourself good wires and terminals battery a cut off switch and a 15 dollar distribution block from ebay. Use a few grade ten bolts lock washers and lock nuts. Drill some holes bolt it down real tight silicone around and undercoat .

As for your AFR gauge reading differently, I'm not surprised. They are sensitive to how much voltage they get, and that can vary widely based on how your power and grounds are. Right now it sounds like your grounding is way too long, regardless.


Thanks for your reply Ben... So I guess I need to shorten my ground to trunk... As for my AFR it seems that I need to find another 12v source of it.

Don't forget the AFR controller ground. It is just as important to get right as the +12v source.
