Thread: Lo-beams work but not hi-beams?

I've been having this electrical issue for quite a while now and I'd like to see what I can do about it.

My lo-beams work fine with no problems, but when I switch to hi-beams, no light shines. I know my bulbs are good so it cant be that. Could it be the switch assembly on the steering coloumn? something else?

I had the same problem so i cleaned the switch on the column and that fixed it.

I would also check the switch. Get a wiring diagram and check the wire that runs to the front. also wouldn't hurt to check the ground.
