Thread: headlights are too dim

clear headlights and it wouldnt matter if they were smoked the head light bulb its self is dim.
ok this is what we did
new bulbs
new battery
new under dash and headlight harness
sanded the grounds
checked fuses and relays
headlight switch
cleaned the headlight plugs

Yeah it would, I've seen a few aftermarket headlamp make the bulb looks dim when it really isn't. If your getting 12vs to the bulb, and all bulbs installed looks dim I recommend new headlamps.

Maybe the conncetion inside the harness is loose, twist the tabs on the bulbs so that it touches the connection on the inside
