Thread: Crossover/signal amplifier options?

I'm looking at my options right now. First things first, I want to keep my stock HU. That's a must.

I want to add a couple things though:

Mono amp (just for sub(s))
USB input (to listen to pandora from my phone)

I will most likely be getting a HTC Hero (or Evo, if I come into some money) and will have Pandora through my phone.

I currently have a LOC from Best Buy and was thinking about something better. Something that can take speaker-level inputs and increase the signal (like a AudioControl unit), but also needs to have a USB input.

Has anybody seen or used anything like this? I was looking at the JL Cleansweep a few years ago, and I think Rockford makes something like this, but do they amplify the speaker-lever signal? (say from 2V to 6V+)

What are my options?

Bump, looking at the Audiocontrol LC7. Anybody use this?

I am not familiar with the LC7I have used the LC6 and LC8 both are sweet,lots of flexibility.the remote bass knob is a great plus,but no usb input.
Much better than a cheapo/standars LOC.
