The 7kv's can be run infinite baffle. You just need to completely separate the front soundwave from the back soundwave too get some decent output out of them. I would make some more MDF plates to fill all of those large holes and then put sound deadener over the entire area.

As much as I hate to admit this..... I may be back to square one on this project.
Spent some time this weekend measuring and trial fitting some "containers" so to speak to try and use to seal the space entirerly. As far as I can tell its not going to work! As I'm sure you all know for the speakers to work sealed they must be 100% sealed and I cant see how I can make that work. The holes for the panel attachments are going to be the killer!

I'm going to sit on the idea for a a while to see if I can come up with a better idea as I really wanted to use these speakers and I wanted to use them in this location!!!

My original idea was to use .5 CF underhung boxes attached under the rear deck, this is still a possibility but who knows?

As it sits now a 10" is going into a molded fiberglass enclosure in the drivers side corner of the trunk.

As much as I love doing installs, this is pissing me off as much as owning a turbo Sentra!

I'll update any progress as it happens.

would this work?

find a large shoe box and wrap it in foil. place it in the 1/4 where u want the speaker. fill the area with great stuff the entire area doesnt need to be foamed, just as long as the box is held in place, the holes for the panel clips are nothing! just use a drill and drill the foam out alittle.......those clips will hold just fine. doing it this way maybe you could even make a port to increase the spl? idk........im not great with audio lol.

I remember putting 6.5" JL components in the doors of the b13 I had, cut to the chase if I wanted the window to go down all the way, I had to make a pod for it

Ha, no!

I tried the enclosure in the side panel idea and it was failure so I've decided the 6.5's are not going to be my low frequency drivers in this car. I have a good 10" that I'll just punk out and make a corner loaded fiberglass box for the trunk.

Mostly waiting on the weather to warm up a little, dont want to be confined in my garage with the doors shut playing with fiberglass, thats a nasty high!

I do have an idea on getting the 7" dynaudios in the front doors, if it works ill post up how I did it and a few pics.
