Mine are made of plastic and I have a conventional oven (no fan). Did 300F then popped one housing in at a time while lowering the temp to 200F for 10 min.

um one question, why do you have to bake the headlight housing?

To separate the housings. The glue that bonds the lens to the assembly will not give without baking the headlight, first. If you attempt to separate the lens without baking the light, you'll destroy the lens and/or the housing.

Maybe this is the wrong place to post this, but can somebody fill me in on HID's? I know it is High Intensity Discharge, but what is the bulb? I remember when xenon bulbs came out a while back, lots of people tried to put aftermarket ones on their cars, and they looked and worked like crap. You just ended up blinding oncoming traffic. Are these HIDs as good as the ones you see on factory cars?

these are simliar to the ones on factory car.. they are projectors none the less with cut of shields to prevent blinding etc etc.

they arent like the pnp play kits that you just pop in and blam HID on your car..these are different. they are plug and play yes but they also are projectors with a cut off line etc.
