B13 Cluster swap thoughts
So i'm planning to install a Sunpro 2 5/8" Super Tach II since my 1.6 B13 doesnt have one.

Its only 29.99 at autozone and since I work there I get 20% employee discount. Looks very easy to install as well and would be less work than swapping in a new cluster.

But then again I want the oem look. I'm not sure if any 1.6 b13 had a rpm tach in the cluster but I know 1.6 b14's have em. I've done my research on the forums, but it looks a lil more challenging to install the cluster than installing an aftermarket tach. I do have wiring install and modification install cause I learned with my p11.

I'm not sure how much the clusters go for at the junkyard but im guessing somewhere $45+. Pick your part will be having a 50% off memorial day weekend special so ima go hunting for a 1.6 cluster.

So im trying to figure out on what to do.

Suggestions, opnions, recommendations are welcome.

Put a nx1600 cluster in. Lot of wiring but very cool end result.

the 91-94 se and gxe model came with tach, but you have to do some re-pinning and run a wire for the tach signal from the ecu. not hard ,just tedious work. do a search on the other forum on the tech library

thanks for letting me know. It will make it easier for me hunting down the right sentra at the junkyard.

Your clusters are in kmh and If I put one i'm gonna be wondering what is the actual speed im driving, lol. Is it possible to just change the faceplate of only the speedometer so I can have mph instead of kmh.

How much can you get them for? I understand spanish cause i'm latino but i'll have a hard time reading it since i'm not that fluent.

yeah you can just translate it in yahoos babel fish LOL... anyways i think you can change the faceplate... actually mine does only read in km/h... but i don't see why you couldnt change the whole speedo and just add yours to the "new" cluster... i've got a needle less b13 sr20 car here it reads a little more rpm's but you can have it for mostly nothin... shippin might be expensive tought.... i can get the ga16's one but i'd need to look for it a little

Today I went to the junkyard and found the only 1.6 cluster with a tach, all sentra clusters were gone n gutted. total was $14.xx. Theyres a 50% off sale for memorial weekend.

its from a b14

Ive read around about some being cable or electronic.

Is it possible for a swap from cable to electronic?
