it does sound very nice,,, today I had to demo my car (sound) for a 58yr old man that is looking at stuff that his 16 yr is wanting in his first car,,, LOL the poor kid don't know crap EXCEPT name brands,, however he is going by what all his friends are telling him,, you know the usual, if it's not 3000 watts and 4 12's you can't hear it...
Well anyway I told the guy to just get a few of his own cd's out of his truck... the guy snickered at me and said I'm not into all the boom boom and jadda jadda,, and I responded neither am I
... few seconds later he handed me 2 cd's and said if you can make this sound good then I'll buy your Boston whatever you call it now days stuff. (I just about fell in the floor) ... I smiled and took his cd's (stevie ray vaughan and eric clapton) pluged the stevie cd in and everything is sounding great to me when all of the sudden he proceeded to turn the knob down and said I thought you said you had all that boom boom in here,, I went into my radio and turned up the sub control and he like to have sheeeeeet all over my seat......his eyes got real big,, after that excitement I put clapton in and that was all she wrote...
Guy went inside and purchased 2 G5 10's 1 GT28 and a set of Boston Pro's which are 600 bucks...... now the Pro's are for him and his truck but the bass package is for his 16yr old and it is the same as what I have... sooo sweet and mild mannered untill you unleash the beast..
the Boston sound can appeal to any age and also make a bass head smile

I sell kits for the NX2000 ready to be installed (cut) and anybody can do it... might take you a few times to get good.. I like the idea of tinting my own car,, even if I did'nt know how I would try..
