nice stuff. I have always been a fan of boston speakers. Don't know to much about their amps though but I bet it sounds clean.

it does sound very nice,,, today I had to demo my car (sound) for a 58yr old man that is looking at stuff that his 16 yr is wanting in his first car,,, LOL the poor kid don't know crap EXCEPT name brands,, however he is going by what all his friends are telling him,, you know the usual, if it's not 3000 watts and 4 12's you can't hear it...

Well anyway I told the guy to just get a few of his own cd's out of his truck... the guy snickered at me and said I'm not into all the boom boom and jadda jadda,, and I responded neither am I ... few seconds later he handed me 2 cd's and said if you can make this sound good then I'll buy your Boston whatever you call it now days stuff. (I just about fell in the floor) ... I smiled and took his cd's (stevie ray vaughan and eric clapton) pluged the stevie cd in and everything is sounding great to me when all of the sudden he proceeded to turn the knob down and said I thought you said you had all that boom boom in here,, I went into my radio and turned up the sub control and he like to have sheeeeeet all over my seat......his eyes got real big,, after that excitement I put clapton in and that was all she wrote...

Guy went inside and purchased 2 G5 10's 1 GT28 and a set of Boston Pro's which are 600 bucks...... now the Pro's are for him and his truck but the bass package is for his 16yr old and it is the same as what I have... sooo sweet and mild mannered untill you unleash the beast..

the Boston sound can appeal to any age and also make a bass head smile

Thanks Tommy,,, it's hard to do the work and take picture at the same time... and I don't really know how to document everything right,, but I tried.. as for the window tint I was just giving out a few pointers to those who was just wondering how to do it....

I sell kits for the NX2000 ready to be installed (cut) and anybody can do it... might take you a few times to get good.. I like the idea of tinting my own car,, even if I did'nt know how I would try..

no pro series comps up front. what happened there? I used to love going to the spring break nationals. We had several cars from the shop I worked at that would compete every year. I think I was 17 first time I attended.

low funds for now,,, so just went with what I had,(SL65 coax), plans are to install either a set of SL60's like I had before or go with a set of the Pro's,, the only proble with doing the Pro's is the NX doors don't really have the room but I'm working on a solution on that.... ,,,,,

we will be at Spring Break Nationals this yr,,, and if anyone wants to go I'll get you in with our group,, just need to know ahead of time....

I Db metered mine yesturday and managed to pull a 150.1 db wooohoooo,,, after I finish with the Dynamat I think I can get back to what I had in my other car with the same set up which was 152.2 ,,,, not bad for a pair of 10's huh???

don't know if I will compete but time will tell.....

I know what you mean about the doors. I was just going to use my 6.5 mb quarts up front but the dept was not there and I was too lazy to make a panel.
