wiring upgrade?

has anyone ever tried putting a larger alternator or starter wire on a B14 or any SR car? did it help anythig?

I have a B15 alt in mine. It puts out about 20 more amps. Works nice, and I have a good system in my car too. No dim lights or anything, and I have a lot of elctronics. Plus a B15 alt is a direct bolt on.

Not sure what a larger starter will do for you...

he was just talking about a bigger guage wire.

It will probably help a little bit, just because the stock wiring sucks.

You'd see more benefits from a ground kit though, they really do make a difference on older cars that have some miles on them..

wow, i really miss read that one. Sorry. Grounding kits do help a lot. Mine inproved things all over.
