Just to contribute a little more here, notice how the axle seal on the LH for both trannies are different. The LSD tranny uses a larger OD seal than they NON LSD tranny. The seals on the NON LSD tranny are the same on both sides, while the LSD tranny uses different size seals.

I wish i had this info a few months ago i boght a non lsd gear box from a forum member we both clueless about the LSD to the non LSD that mistake cost me $500 and believe me i have learned,I now wana know how to take off the busted bell housing i am gona buy a brand new one soon and have it reinforced and have the 5th gear pop fixed, the dealer told me a brand new gear box will set me back $1200,So im gona try to save the one that i got now,I also got my eye on the B15 gear box (more top end) but have not much info on its weakness.

^Get the B15 tranny and call it a day..........It is the strongest of the B trannies and I haven't heard anything bad about it yet.......$1200 on a B13 gear box is what you are investing in? If so, why?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOTE: Some auto trannies have kickdowns and some are electronic.........They do NOT interchange like the SR20 B13 and B14 Manual trannies do.
