The situation is really shitty, is love to have a RHD car but it.seems Impossible

Says who? No one said GTi-Rs were legal in the US. Are they? I always assumed they are illegal for the same crash test data reason.

GTI-Rs (like most other JDM cars) are grey market cars. Meaning "Illegal" for all intensive purposes.

Although, contrary to above, some have VALID US registration.......How that is possible, is beyond my scope.

I knw someone thats claims, knows the loop holes to get jdm rhd vehicles imported through canada with all compliance doumentation to register... Although PRICEY! let me know if interested....EXCLUDE R32 AND R34!

I'd pick up a GTi-R or a GT-R that was already registered and such in the US. Or maybe I can just buy a 300zxTT and stop bitchin so much. LoL IDK

See, I've heard that is quite common withthe GTi-Rs that are in the States. Is it perhaps they sold Pulsars and NXs here, and those are what the cars are registered as?

^^^ No, I am pretty sure the ones that are legally registered have a valid (14 digit I think) US vin #

If you try to register it as a NX or a earlier model Pulsar, this is considered illegal as well (in essence a "VIN" swap)

Alot of GTiR's are registered under their Japanese vin.
