Setting Fuel Pressure question...
K so I was driving my car around today and getting all the annoying **** worked out on it. I got everything taken care of minus re-setting the fuel pressure.

Before with my T25 I had set the fuel pressure with the vacuum on to 44psi (stock fuel pump). That worked out perfect and made it so that I only needed to take out just a bit of fuel on the SAFC for fine tuning. Now onto the Walbro...I have it set at 44psi with the vacuum on and my car runs stupid rich unless i take out a crazy ammount of fuel. Im not liking that since the more extreme you adjust the SAFC the more it plays with your timing which I dont want. My question is:

Are we supposed to set the fuel pressure with the vacuum ON to 44psi or are we suppoed to take the vacuum off and set it? I noticed that when I took teh vauum hose off and capped it the Fuel pressure went up. Anyway let me know for sure. Thanks

Set it with the hose off and capped. You can take out fuel pressure to lean it out but its not really meant for that. If you are moving it more than a few psi you really need a new program.

if you have a wideband you can adjust the fuel pressure and see where it puts you at WOT, but you could run too lean on boost and thats a no no
