wow thanks for treating me like a noob. Its an SR I saw his, drove it, and i own a few cars with them in it. Oh and I owned a GA i know what those feel like too

Along with checking the compression, make sure the timing is set properly.

We do get some GA16DE people on here, and they wonder why their cars are slow, so it's a usual assumption if the member is new and the car is slow, there is a good chance they don't know what they have under the hood. Especially since you didn't even mention opening your hood and checking for obvious problems

ok well since, i have opened the hood and see no obvious problems, seems pretty clean under the hood, and im not so new, i have been on here since the dash started, and was on the old forum.

As well as compression and timing, check for clean air filter and catalytic converter for clogging.

well, timing was off 5 degrees and i cleaned the maf, runs better now. air filter was clean and i dont think the cat is bad, ill find out when i get the emissions done.
