WOW! Found this in storage. For the true old schoolers
Who remembers this? (east coast guys)?

It was May 2000 - Carlisle, PA. We had about 30 SR20 powered cars and even more people. Somehow at the end of the event I snagged our group's sign and JUST found it in my storage bin - almost exactly 17 years later. Some of us are still here, some we have lost to cancer, some have moved on to other cars, but THOSE were the days of the SE-R community IMHO - I was a kid, just barely 17, but damn those were the days Good to know that Ray Kawski & Kieran Levin, the main organizers of that event, still have SR20 powered cars. Ray has a 380WHP turbo '98 SE (and is still waiting for Clark from JWT to make him a clutch to fit his modified trans) - and two NX's- and an EVO and various others. Kieran still had a B13 when I saw him last summer.

Ray's 98 SE was the reason I got my first ticket back in 98 or 99. He was down in south FL and wanted to see how his stick SE would do against my B13 with a pop charger and exhaust. Guess who got the ticket? At least my car was faster

Yeah, he offered to pay for the ticket, he circled around a few times, I had about 4 cop cars there trying to decide what kind of ticket to give me. Back then there wasn't a street racing ticket option lol
