have a sr20det red top motor im putting in my 95 altima i turned side ways and was gonna use another tranny from a 200sx ser but some one told me if i use my ka transmission that was in it on my sr20 bellhousing i have for my sr that it would work i was wondering if that would actualy work since im maken it a front wheel drive? some one said it would and that i could keep my drive shafts and use my regular clutch hook ups which would make it alot easier... any help would be appriciated thanks

first off, i have no idea what you're trying to ask. learn to use punctuation.

what do you mean when you say you turned the motor sideways?

ok. i see what you're trying to say. and i honestly don't think that the KA bellhousing OR gearbox would work on the SR, although i'm not sure. i think it would be best to use an fwd SR gearbox.

Wow man... I think you are waaaay confused on your FWD and RWD stuff. If you are having to ask these many questions... You are definitly not ready to put a RWD motor in a FWD car. What are you gonna do about the distributer? The intake? The exhaust?

haha your not going to be able to put a RWD engine in a FWD car ........ even if u did have the now how do to it, it'd take so much fabrication its not even cost effective

Swap is really straight fowards as I did look into it when I had a U13. You gotta use the SR20 tranny/axles. You can also use the factory KA harness, just need to make some adjustments.

im just gonna use the 200sx ser tranny make it easier just hard to get on at good price down and actualy the install is easy, the hard part is wireing cus i have a nissan sylvia sr20det red top i have to use the ecu and wireing harnest and splice into some of my stock wireing harnest. i already have everything i need except tranny clutch flywheel intercooler and fuel pump.
