What on earth is this empty electrical plug on my TB?

The lower empty plug there. Anyone know what that is? The Haynes manual I have for this car has absolutely no mention of it and searching "SR20DE throttle body plugs" and variations therefore just give me a bunch of results on TB swaps from other engines.

May be related to cruise control, if I remember correctly? If you have cruise and it's working, then it's something else...

that's an auto tps. I just put one from a ve on my car, you don't need that 2nd plug at all. I believe it gives the same tps 5v output that the utilized plug does, which is actually kind of interesting as an attesa computer needs that input for load biasing. converting to awd, this may be a preferred tps.

It's probably a throttle closed switch. Check it with an ohm meter. Should have continuity when throttle closed, open with throttle open.

Auto or cruise are both good guesses. This car has a cruise that doesn't work (93 SE-R) and it is not the original engine for this car. Hmm. Guess it's nothing to worry about, then. Thanks for the suggestions.

It's not cruise, that's for sure. Everything I've ever seen points to it being a TB for an automatic transmission car. The bottom plug gives TPS data to the transmission controller.
That's what I recall from my FSM anyway...
