sticky residue
So I finally got the uber-rice GT-R badge taken off my 200SX (put there by previous owner...), but now I have a big patch of nasty sticky residue left. I used goo-gone stuff and a blow dryer to take it off and it worked great came off really easy but now i can't get the stuff off. please help lol it almost looks worse than the badge...

ok so apparently there's a big difference between Goo-Gone and goo gone look alikes because i got my hands on some of the real goo-gone and it was over in 2 sec. so just delete this thread or something

get some 3m adhesive and wax remover. it works wonders on adhesives. you just spray and let it sit for a few seconds and wipe away. sometimes it takes a couple applications to get it all off. Also, this stuff stinks so make sure your in a fairly well ventilated room.

Oops, just read that you got it off with goo-gone. Well, anyway for the future, the 3m stuff works great

Real goo-gone was always used in my junior high school, every last week of school year we had to use it to get off all the gum stuck under the desks. Worked like a charm.
