high port to low port b14
so I bough my b14 se and blew the high port that was in it. bought a low port and it came with a harness and ecu. what do I need to do wiring wiss to put the new motor in

The B14 would have had a low port originally, so the motor was swapped previously. The only problem will be the wiring harness for the injectors as far as I know, usually you can make this work on such swaps by unwrapping some of the insulation on the harness to get the cables to stretch.

Or you can swap the whole harness, but that's more work.

B14's 200sx/se-r came with a lowport so as long as the harness isnt from 98-99 models it should plug and play. Someone correct me if im wrong.

What year is the car? Ive got a lowport, harness and ecu from a 96 200sx se-r. I think were close to each other if i remember correctly. Im in halifax.

Just to clarify what motors what the one that was in the car if highport (injectors sit above throttlebody) and lowport (injectors sit below throttle body)

ya well the motor that I bought my car with is a high port with the injectors up on top

Without knowing more about the swap that was previously done, we can only guess. Someone put an older motor in there, if the original harness is intact, you should be able to put a Low Port back in without too much extra hassle, it's just a matter of repositioning the harness. If harness modifications were made though, you're not really going to know until you get in there to see what you're dealing with.

The injector harness is pretty much all you need to be concerned about as to the differences in the wiring. Air intake plumbing would be slightly different, but that's more manageable.
