Thread: Bucking under cruise conditions, misfire?

Car left me stranded last night. Turned out to be a broken wire to MAP sensor. After fixing it, the car ran again. I was hoping this would have been the end of it, but no.

Car is now missing at 1500-4000, and I can no longer go WOT. As soon as I step on it, it falls flat and you almost get thrown thru the windshield. I limped it to the garage, going to tear it down now.

On the plusside, i found the broken wb02 wire, and patched that, so I can now log afr again.

Change the distributor and see what happens Dala or a GOOD KNOWN UNIT

I hate minor/transient problems. I love when the problem gets worse. It means you can diagnose it better. You're going to get it figured out now.

Strange the MAP sensor wire was problematic but didn't show up in the logs. =/
I remember @cortrim1 had a brand new MAP sensor with a break in the wire right by the housing. So silly.
