How much CFM for A/C?
I am in the process of rebuilding my car. One issue I would like to address while the car is apart is the A/C. It would work great while moving over 10 mph but once at a stop it would get warm. Also when at a stop the engine temps would continue to increase until the car would overheat.

I am very tight on space due to running a gti-r style turbo manifold and turbo. Currently I have three siliconeintake.com fans. One 10" fan on the driver side as a puller, one 7" fan on the passenger side as a puller, and one 7" fan on the driver side as a pusher. The website states that they push more air then a spal but I find that hard to believe.

I am looking into getting some spal low profile fans and I would like to know how much CFM you guys need to get reliable ac in 100* weather. I am thinking about getting two 10" pushers at 749cfm, one 11 inch puller at 844 cfm and one 7.5 inch puller at 500cfm. I am also entertaining the idea of making a custom shroud for my puller fans out of a sheet of aluminum.

Get name brand. The silicon intake fans pull less than 10 amps. The don't flow anywhere close to stock. Get some spal fans. They actually work.

Sounds like the condenser is not doing its job any more.

Is the pusher fan located in between the condenser and radiator??? ...or in front of the condenser?

The pusher fan is located in front of the condenser.

Are any of your fins bent or clogged on either radiator or condenser?

My NX condenser looked pretty good but it just couldn't do it's job any more.

I had two oem fans (looking back, one may have been bad) and when I would stop from highway speeds, the AC would get warm, and the car temps would creep up.

I got some mishimoto parts - a new rad and two 10" slim fans (no shroud) and that problem is gone.

With your space limitations, I'd still go the 10" slim route, but maybe both in front as pushers.

I haven't used the spal fans, so I can't say anything about them either way.

The radiator has some bent fins. That is being corrected before the car gets put back together.

That's very similar to my issues. I think I have decided on two spal 10 inch pushers mounted on the condenser as well as my cheap 10 inch and 7 inch as pullers
