I'd swap the 2 sensor wire out to the obd1 blue one and check continuity of the 1 wire sensor harness.

Pulled out the dash the other day.
Focusing on the more important things right now- speedo/odo/trip & temp gauges.
Tried:
-different temp sensor (from '96 G20t) (another red) -even though this 1 doesn't give the gauge readings.
-checked & took off & cleaned temp gauge tab (on engine) -looks good, looks like it's getting good contact.
-changed out the top piece/connection on the speed sensor (from '96 G20t) -still nothing.

Also, tested the speedo cable (mechanical, reed type). Turned it counterclock wise and it did bounce the speedo's needle.

Working on getting the rest of the speed sensor out of the Chupacabra's trans, it's a PITA!
Have read some other threads regarding removal & have tried some of the recommendations, none have worked yet.
Overnight PB Blaster soak, jarring it with hammers/screwdrivers, taking the wheel off so we can slide in pipes/shaftlike items against it & hammering but it just keeps slipping off,
use the 10mm hole in various ways to possibly jar it loose, grab the nipple that sticks up on the middle of the sensor with pliers while squeezing hard but just strips around the middle piece w/o budging the sensor.
It's literally a PITA.
Screwed the middle piece that the cable goes into, and not sure if it's any indication (but compared it to another I have) it looked in pretty bad shape (and had black gunk on it) and the small nubs on the washer thing were really worn. And remember this transmission, we cracked open this transmission previously (see above posts) and it was nice and clean and now has fresh Amsoil in it.

Also, is the (mechanical) auto & manual speed sensor the same or different?
Because I have a spare mechanical speed sensor but it came from an auto, if there is a difference (since I can't pull this 1 out of this trans yet to compare) then I am screwed.

This is going to be my dumb noob questions thread
Long time no see. Been having my own personal issues so haven't had the chance to really get on here lately. Looks like I am missing some drama, but meh.

Anyways, I am past all the stuff in the previous post. Temp works and speedo & all that works too now. Now if it's reading correctly I have no clue .

Even drove IT a mile the other day and other than IT needing an alignment pretty bad, seems like most is sorted out and been piecing IT all back together when I have the time.
My issue now is getting the power windows working. It's grounded everywhere, fuse looks good & smj fuses look good.

Put power to the windows and they go up and down. Sadly burnt out the passenger motor on its way back up (tested by the book), guess it was on its last leg

Anyways, wasn't sure what to do next. All wiring in the dash looks good, in the doors looks good, under the dash looks good then I found this...

Just all dangling there minding it's own business.
Then refer to this:

So I am assuming that has to be my issue?

Also, does anyone happen to know if a 2dr b13's manual window mechanisms will fit and work in an Nx?

Just for the sake of archiving, how did you manage to get the temperature and speedometer working?

Nothing worth really mentioning.
The damn speedo kept popping out of one end or the other, so had to readjust all that.
And I did have the wrong temp sensor in it, thought I had swapped out all of the obd2 sensors but must've overlooked this 1. Simple shit that should'nt have been overlooked.

Simple, yeah, we all do that now and then though, I personally just like seeing the answer in a thread instead of someone finding this in five years going, "HOW DID YOU FIX IT?!"

While I don't know about the compatibility between the B14 and N14 manual windows, I would personally assume they wouldn't unless you can get them side by side.

Is that circuit breaker the only thing stopping you from getting it working? You could always test it with a wire, a wire with a fuse if you're worried about frying anything.

Yeah, just a bit of a "dumbass newb" move on my part. But I understand where you're coming from, someone else might have this very own "dumbass newb" moment.

The windows work, tested per FSM.
Just won't work for sure I guess until I get this part, I hope that's all that's holding it back at least.

Was asking if a 2door b13 Sentra's manual window mechanisms would work on an Nx for backup, in case this doesn't fix my windows (& I give up).
