Rear seat delete ideas?
I have installed a 4 point roll bar in back of my B13 with harness and diagonal, so basically I don't plan on carrying passengers any more. Also, to bring all of my gear and tires to the track, I want to feed the back seat area through the pass-through hole. Has anyone cleanly done a seat delete with nice carpet/upholstery?

Pics?

i plan to make something out of sheet metal, and then have it covered with fabric to match the front seats or the carpet. it won't save any weight, but it will look better than being bare. i planned on doing it even if i wasn't going to cage my car. who can sit in the back anyway? a small child?

Depending on what look you're looking for... I would just do sheet metal around the back and leave it that way. If you have the roll bar, then it would look fine like that.

Or if I could, I would just leave the rear seats in there to make everything complete. For example. (This is with a 6 point cage btw)

If you are good with sheet metal, this looks pretty good.

Or there is this.

haha. I wish it was mine. Thats Toby Broadfield's interior. His car was just recently featured in Modified Mag. One hell of a sexy car.

The sheet metal looks great! Just need to keep the pass through utility. Fold down seats would be okay, but since it's not really safe to sit back there any more anyway, I want to tidy things up.

Keep the pics coming!

Well see, what I'm getting at is even if its humanly impossible to sit in the rear, still having the rear seats there anyways if you can fit them back there. No one has to sit there, but it makes it look like a complete car. I have multiple gutted cars before, and I have to say I like the complete look much better. Its based off opinion and the fact that its your car, but I vote for rear seats behind the roll bar.
