Ebay TriY header review/results thread
Heres the results from my recent Ebay TriY install.
I want to thank everyone involved from the maker of the header, who is lurking here,(maybe he will chime in here.)
Thanks to the dyno and lift at MIA Motorsports, and the expert tuning by @gio94sr20ve as well as his mechanical knowledge and skills.

heres the dyno sheets to look at for now. I will follow up in the next reserved post for all the details and a full review of the header install, fitment, and possible future upgrades that may be made. Its just taking me longer than I thought to do the writeup and upload pics....but I wanted to let you guys see the numbers anyway.

My setup is a stock sr20ve,typical bolt on common setup.
,N60 Maf
,pop charger,
stock cams,switching at 4600,
OEM cat to 3" exhaust,
gspec WP pulley
ssac header

-Run #5 was his car as it stood mechanically but tuned to that setup.
Sr20ve stock cams
Ssac header
Intake pipe
3" exhaust
Stock cat in place

-Run#10 was the tri-y header installed tune adjustment that was needed
Everything else kept the same
Run#22 was removal of the stock cat and replaced with a hi-flo cat and retune
Everything else stayed the same
Stock motor
Stock cams

-Run #28 was the installation of the n1 cams 0-0 degrees and tune adjustments
My car was getting hot on the dyno at this point so we had to stop but it may have been possible to squeeze a tiny bit more out if it wasnt losing power as it heated up. We did a few 200-201 pulls but it would go down each pull from there as the water temps rose.I plan to go back with a freshened up cooling system next time.lol

Overall,I am happy with the way the car feels and sounds. It will be interesting to see how this would work with a high comp or nitrous motor

I wondered the same thing. ...thats typical because the low lobes on the n1 are smaller than the stock cams. Its possible that I could get sme of that back with cam gears, but that would be a better question for a tuner than me though.

9hp (6.7kw) and 5ft/lb is a pretty useful change for a tuned comparison.well done.

Thank you Jay for the opportunity and to be able to work on your beautiful beautiful white b13. Pictures don't do the car any justice.
Where I use to Dyno for about 10 years closed doors. So this new Dyno shop I go to now is known to read a bit lower for some reason.

I want to thank Jay for all his time and efforts he continues to give to the community and his real nice cars.
Jay is a great individual to be around with and I can't say enough good things about him.
