welding LCA ? + difference in control arms ?
Well short n sweet driver side LCA ball joint is slipping out of its socket. Going to replace it but I think the splines sanded the hole so when I insert the the one it may still slip out. Going to weld it on with a moog greasable . So anyone know of a place that can do the job in L.A.?

bump so i pressed in a new one , drove fine but the new one is popping out , anyone know if tack welding a couple spots is ok? was thinking about just replacing the control arm.

also my car is an 01 SE W/ pp , i look under rockauto and it lists control arms that do and do not have the p/p . i look under the 1.8L and it lists the same control arms as a 2.0 sentra . under the 1.8L it has the moog control arm w/ greasable bushing but anyone know if its an exact fit under my sentra?

They should be the same, across the board.

I would just tack the ball joints though.

I would tac weld it in a few spots and replace the control arm next time. Should have just did the control arm in the first place seeing as its 40 online with all the bushings lol

I would just purchase a new LCA from Rockauto that comes with a new ball joint and rubber for $65 shipped...don't forget to get an alignment.
