Launching on 2 step
Ok so I got my ecu in and have been playing around with some things. I said I wasn't going to use the 2 step until I got the head built and slicks but I changed my mind. I have only tried to launch on it once and got really bad wheel hop. I have stock driveshaft, J30 dif, spl solid diff bushings, 17x8 rear wheels, and 235/50/17 street tires. Am I just releasing the clutch wrong or should I look into something worn out in the suspension? Trying to have it right by March 27th when I go back to the drag strip. I had my best launches around 3000 rpms on the 195/60/15s I did have, So I'm thinking 3500 rpm launch on the wider tires should do it.

My experince with the 2 step is me riding the clutch out a little and not just dropping the hammer. Then I modulate the throttle as best as I can till I feel it's not going to send me into the other lane then give it all she's got. My turbo is not stock (SC61) so my launch RPM is @ 5500 not 3500. 3500 my car just bogs off the line.
This one was a pretty good go because my tires were shit so I was extra careful lol.

This one wasn't as good because the power had been bumped up since the 1st video and the tires are new.
