Don't care, my commute only deserves a disposable whip. Through the most ghetto parts of chi-town is IL
Stick, DIY heated 92 SER seat is 4 bolts and some wiring away. AND tracks straight and true unlike Bob which is f-in spooky past 40mph now

Cheaper than when we replaced alternator on wife's car @ $tealer. BreakMyWallet indeed,

There is a certain freedom is having a beat to shit vehicle that you really don't give a fuck about much beyond it staying reasonably reliable. Quick, cheap, reliable, ugly-as-sin theft protection.

I like it.

Oops, almost forgot curb-smacking.

I've smacked a few in my misguided youth. As others have said, control arm, tie rods. Fixed and back on the road with no long term damage.

U have no idea Shawn. The commute takes me thru some of the worst neighborhoods in chi-town. Literally have seen guns drawn across the intersection I was stopped at. Ignored all traffic laws at that point. Gangbangers aim and all that.
Then there's the potholes. Could take the highway thru downtown, but it's BRUTALLY clogged early.
Felt way too guilty taking the 'flagship' Björn thru that shit.

Have gotten up early so I could take LSD, even further distance tho.
Good thing Wifey can use my mom's old car as kinder schleppen for now.

I've got a cool mom. It warms up quickly and has heated seats. Unlike Björn who is from California.
He'll be on the market soon. So will the Mazda.
As soon as our 'new' 540 Touring gets here. Which has heated seats. That will be mod #4 for Chip. See below

So yeah, mods for Chip...

1- Summit Racing and Jeggs stickers removed. The latter almost a foot long on the dash?!?
2- Painted SER rims with bald, old, leaky all seasons replaced w/ NX2s rollin on freshish snow tires. Bob is wearing the ancient 13" he came with for now.
3- Longest 2.25" inlet/out resonator closest muffler shop had on hand welded in. May consider a cat later cause I'm green and shit. *shakes head*

After some toning down of the ricing, or more appropriately hooning out .... took for an 'Italian tuneup'. W/O 1/4 ton of owner and buddy.
HOLY DRIVELINE LASH BATMAN

Ordering some motor mounts 1st thing tomorrow.
Yikes

Otherwise, a nice little runner.
Heated 92 seat on NX rails can wait since switch harness is AWOL

Nuts.
Now that I can sorta hear things over the exhaust .... thinking we have a bad wheel bearing in front.
I've searched and it seems to be that SR20 and GA16 knuckles are compatible.

Is that the case?
