FML! Wrenching gone bad (MAP issue caused by what)
Okay, today everything went wrong.

-Started by installing STI injectors. One O-ring didn't seal, and I flooded Cyl#1. Fuelhydrolock.The starter tried to compress the fuel, and stopped dead in it's track.

-Sorted the oring. Dried out the cylinder. Prayed to the SR-gods that I didn't bend a valve.

-Uploaded a new tune to NEMU. Injector resize only thing I changed. (370cc-520cc)

-Went for a drive. 16-18afr, 14afr under boost

-Pulled in to the garage, Check Engine Light. MAP sensor according to Nismotronic. Stuck at 500mbar, 0.8V.

Car won't start. FML. I'm going to bed crying...

Update!

Got the car started. Suspected a corrupt tune, and after reuploading the tune the MAP sensor sprung to life. Drove it home 35km by relying on closed loop to counter the 17afr...

Car drives like piss. Dunno why, since I only changed injectors... Need to retune the entire map by the looks of it.

But hey it's getting better Need to do a compression test now...

dont retune the entire map, just resize your injectors till they are happy and go from there. rescale smaller so they run a higher duty cycle and richen up. this is of course after you verify you didnt bend any valves, though you should be able to hear it quite audibly.

good to see the car is still alive, and you got it home safely.

Try 420 for injector size.. thats what mine liked when runnin speed density with sti injectors

Thanks for the tip lynch, I put it at 330, since I'm running cornjuice. Seems strange to run 500cc injectors at 330 thou...

Idle is at 14.7 now, boosting below 12.6. Light throttle goes to 16? Dunno why, with the old injectors i had light throttle at 14..

I'm also chasing down some idle issues. I have a jumping idle between 2000-1300-2000-1300 at traffic lights. Just finished removing the waxstat throttlebody mechanism, since i used the water lines to cool the turbo instead. Will see if this helps..

I think I should put all this in my build thread instead, no need to clutter up the forums with these threads :P Sorry guys ;P

You do have to use about 30% more fuel when running E85 vs. standard gasoline so if the car runs fine with the 500cc injectors running on a 330cc map that would make sense to me. Unless the map is supposed to be for E85 then whoever made the tune messed something up by the sound of it.
