Thread: misfire help

so my car began to misfire throughout the rpm range. It feels less at high rpms, but its still noticeable. I changed the spark plugs and its a little better. (the old plugs were really crappy). Its still there though. It seems to be more on the 4th cylinder than any of the others. My question for everyone is, when testing the wires, what does your spark look like? my spark is a weak gold/yellow colored spark. In other cars I have owned its more like a bright white/bluish spark. any help would be appreciated.

Try a compression test, any amount of spark should be good enough to not run that poorly. Maybe the wire is shot, try switching the wire with #3, and see if it moves with the wire.
