rob its a shop in huntington station. they have worked on my car a few times. they have rewelded a weld nut in my crossmember and a few other random things. hes a good guy and does good work my father has known him for a long time.

so ive got news that it stops, locks up the front brakes. everything i did was good. he said the rotors were shot. he recommends upgrading the calipers and rotors, wich i did plan on doing way down the road. he also pressed in a new bearing on my front pass wheel, wich i knew had to be done and would have done but i dont have a press.

ill have the car back on the next dry day. .

rotors being shot would have no effect on the piston pushing the pads onto the rotor an locking them up. i believe he bleed it better then you did.. but couldnt find out why your having the problem your having.. stratton if u have any rust on the under carriage of that car.. thats what would be your problem.

i dont understand that really. i mean for a rotor to be shot it would have to be so thin and warpt.. even then it should still stop. the break force from the caliper to the break pads to the rotor should stop the car regardless of how the rotor is. if theres something there for the pads to hit it will stop..

i dunno i could be wrong but something is wierd about your car

doesnt sound right to me really either. but the car stops, hes a honest guy, my father has known him for 20 years, and has worked on my familys cars numerious times in the past, and has done a few hard to do things on mine.

either way the car stops .

You probally glazed the rotors stabbing them not seating the two together properly.
