need a bit of info on installing a lsd p10 Trans into my b14
So I haven't been able to find a solid answer, I was wonderng if the lsd p10 transmission will work on my b14 with the b14 axles or do i need a certain axles for this swap. I read somewhere that i need the g20t driver axle but that didn't totally sound convincing since i have also herd that its a straight swap.thank you in advanced.

straight swap if your car is an se-r or you have lsd axles

I agree^^

You can't swap axles between the cars, IIRC because the hubs are different, but the transmission is the same. If any sensors are different, they should be able to be swapped with those from your old transmission.

Just remember two rules on fwd SR tranny swaps:
- LSD trannies use LSD axles and non LSD trannies use non LSD axles.
- The chassis you are installing into is the axles you need source, because the hubs need to match the axles. The exception being if you swap hubs, and then the rules go out the window.

BUT if you keep the non-lsd axle bracket and non-lsd passenger side axle, you can just change the driver side axle (easy way to save some money in a swap)...

Because if you do swap the passengers side axle, be ready to purchase a proper LSD axle bracket to go with it!

My car is lsd already. I found a p10 Trans in my local junk yard recently that i would like to install into my car. For a excellent price.

Trans question. This is all new to me. When I stick the SR and Trans from the '91 G20 into the '95 200sx, it will obviously involve new axles, but what about the hubs and anything else? I learn something new each day I'm on this forum. Thanks for all the help

Hubs are the same on each chassis for auto-manual, 1.6-2.0. P10, and B13,14 are different from each other. If you have a B14 then you need B14 non-lsd 2.0 axles. Swapping in a highport is kind of a downgrade for the b14. It's missing some sensors that the lowport has. You'd need to address the ecu issue like running a step down harness to use the p10 ecu or using the whole ecu\harness. You can use a b14 sr ecu but it'll throw a cel without the sensors unless you're running aem or something. You also need a b13,14 passenger motor mount since they are not the same as p10,11 mounts.
