This is what I like to hear. If this works, I should have did this years ago!

I should add that I'm not sure if he had the drone with the Borla that's now on the car or the Stillen that was on way back, I'll check the log book when I get home. But I can tell you that with the Borla there is absolutely no drone in the cabin.

When I saw this thread I knew OP was going to mention Magnaflow, and yep sure enough. I have one and it's the loudest muffler on EARTH! lol

Oh and BTW U think thats bad... how about 3" exhaust to a magnaflow, no cat, no resonators.

I hate to say it, but I'm not surprised? Mine drones too...

Make sure that exhaust tip is at least 1/2" past the rear bumper body molding.

Consider a Dynomax VT muffler. I would try one if I were doing this all over again.

Consider a cancer resonator like @MCarp22 designed for the ultimate solution...

Couldn't find reference to the mat in the log book, but a picture for good measure...

I've always wondered, would it be just as good (ie cheaper) with spray-on trunk liner on the trunk bed and maybe underside as well?

I tried that. Didn't work.

Side branch resonator worked acceptably well at the speed it was tuned for (65ish mph):
