crankshaft position sensor, how to fix?
car is throwing this code, any way to diagnose this and fix it before it trips the light?

I've done a quick search, know where the sensor is, am not near the car at the moment to physically check to see if the sensor is plugged in or damaged in any way, everything else is running good, with the exception of it seems to turn over a few extra times before it catches and starts, assuming this is because the car cannot read the sensor immediately and giving it a hard time? any info would be great guys, thanks!

Sensor is mostly the problem. unless you see any wire damage and clean all ground going to that sensor (f12 and F18 (200sx). saturn with bad Crankshaft Position Sensor not my clip just a helper/thinker chip

Not sure about part number, and what can be used from other nissan's. but the 200sx has the crankshaft position sensor on the flywheel near the front motor mount. and the sentra (b13) looks like is inside the Distributor.

I had a problem with mine last year. Something on the plug that plugs into the censor or the censor was broke because it didn't click when plugged in. So I plugged it snug and wrapped some tape around the plug and censor and no more CEL. By any chance did you just replace the flywheel>?

Yes always make sure the plug is on and clean, look for any wiring damage (tears, burned, rubbing, near heat, pulled out of harness) . Look around a lil and the 2.0 and 1.6 don't have the same sensor, plus auto and 5 speed for both the engine don't used the same sensor. But u can use any from 95-01 if u have the same 2.0 and 5 speed, or so on.

i havent touched anything on the car, just the sensor isnt picking up or something..im going to get the car on the road, drive it a bit, pressure wash the shit out of the engine bay seeing as the sensor is covered in oil and junk and crap, after its cleaned, will unplug it and make sure everything is nice and clean and make sure everything is making good contact and go from there!
