SR20 in limp mode. Lost in the sauce
So to start off I was driving an noticed my battery light, so I took readings on the alternator and it's only making 11.5v. I was able to get home with no issues. 2 weeks go by and I don't drive it, just go outside and let it idle. I decided to rev it up one time and noticed it would only rev up to 2-2500rpm. At the same moment my tach dropped off and read 0rpm no matter what. I replace the alternator thinking maybe it had something to do with the tach and putting it into limp mode. Well it's replaced and the car is still in limp and i still don't have a tach reading. I've reset the ECU multiple times. The set up is a GTIR cluster, bluebird sr20, MAP ECU on an N/A ECU, MSD Digital SCI ignition control w/ blaster coil. Any ideas would be helpful, I've checked everything I can think of.

Pull the codes? It usually tells you what's not working/connected that's putting you in limp. No RPM sounds like the distrbutor might have a hiccup?

I'm on a MAP sensor. Not MAF

The codes I got when I pulled them, Heated O2 sensor, MAF (no maf), TPS, Ignition Signal, Knock sensor.

I pulled it and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. I'm on the hunt for someone here in Colorado Springs that has an extra laying around I can borrow and test that theory.

Tried replacing the ECU with no change in symptoms. I've rewired the MAPECU harness. Replaced Cap/rotor double checked connections on everything major. Anyone else have any ideas?

random ideas, but are you getting full volts to the system, any leaks around the map/intake, maybe if you wire a fuse for the map?

All of the systems are being supplied with proper voltage (MAPECU, ECU, etc.) The MAP sensor is directly into the manifold and I can't find any leaks around it. I've checked every dang fuse on this thing. Starting to think the MAPECU may have gone bye bye....
