Thanks, but if I end up doing anything at this point with the cars exterior, I will most likely give it a rattle can flat black and be done with it. I am not looking to make a looker anymore, as I see the rear quarter and fender area will never be right again. I am not sure a new fender would make things better on how the hood lays on top of the damaged fender. Dunno yet.

He has liability only coverage.. insurance isn't going to pay squat for his car regardless.

You got it.

That depends on who is at fault...in the first post you mention "it was hit..." Did you run a red light or something?

Was the accident YOUR fault? If not, the person 'liable' for the accident is the party responsible for repairing (fixing ) your car...and that is the insurance company you should be filing the claim with, not your own. If it's your fault...yea, screwed.

The insurance follows the vehicle, so if you gave her permission and she is at fault then you are liable b/c you gave her permission...you just were not the driver...at least in Texas.

Well yes, in theory, I meant I was not in actual fault of the accident happening.

*Update*

Car is up and running 100%. Did my alignment and is driving 100% straight as an arrow. I measured camber from side without accident vs side with, and is only off 1/8" more negative camber==me not worried about that.

I hopefully will get a fender from a member on here soon, just changed the pass side strut, was completely shot previously..(turned out the junkyard one I got for side with accident was in good shape) and need to replace the junkyard axle I got to get up and running as the inner boot was torn=no biggie.

Other then that, it is a fully working g20 now, may never look the same, but I don't mind. May look for door later down the road.
